This event will help raise funds to bring life saving procedures to those in need in West Africa. The VOOM (Vincent Obioma Ohaju Memorial) Foundation restarted the open heart surgery program in 2013 located in Nigeria and has made efforts to revisit every year to help countless lives. The hope is to raise enough money through this 5K to make an impact and assist on the work that is being done.
