The 48TH ANNUAL BRAZOS COUNTY 4-H CAKE SHOW & AUCTION
When: Monday, August 5 , 2018 5pm
Where: Brazos Center
Funds Raised support 4-H’ers through Leadership Labs, Fashion Shows, Roundup Contests, Food Shows, Awards Programs, Banquets, Scholarships, Citizenship, Short Courses, etc.
How Does the Show and Sale Work? 4-H members, adults, and family, members bake cakes, or pies, which are entered in one of the following categories:
•4-H Theme Cakes • Chocolate Cakes •Good Old Fashion Eating • Pound Cakes •Decorated Cakes (includes Animals) •Pies •Clover Kids
•Decorative Cookies
You must bring 2 small samples for the judges to taste. Make sure your cake is in a disposable container or covered. The cakes will be sold with the containers.
Judging: The cakes/pies are then judged in each category to select first through fifth places.
THE AUCTION WILL BEGIN AT 7 P.M.
with the auctioning of the Grand Champion, Reserve Champion,
Most Creative, Largest cakes and best 4-H cake followed by all other cakes entered in each of the categories listed above.
Please be in your Sunday dress.
J Cody’s Hamburgers (with all the fixin’s) will be available from 5-7:00 p.m. for $10/plate).
