It’s hard to believe it’s been 18 years since those terrible attacks.
It was unusual for me to be up that early in the morning, but that day I couldn’t sleep. I was chatting with a friend of mine online and they told me to turn on the TV. I saw the reports of the first plane hitting the tower and at the time, we didn’t know if it was an attack or an accident. Then a few minutes later the second plane and came in and hit the tower and I knew it couldn’t of been a coincidence
I remember watching the coverage on the attacks for days and feeling helpless wanting to do something. And then some students over at Texas A&M came up with the red white and blue out at Kyle Field idea.
I didn’t have a ticket to the game but I knew I had to buy a shirt as the proceeds went to help with the tragedy
That’s a shirt I’ll never throw out. Seeing Kyle field in red white and blue just 11 days after the attack. That made me Very Proud to be an A&M grad.

I’ll never forget the attacks and I’ll never forget the patriotism that followed.
