Here's some Fun Halloween facts.
Candy corn has been around since the 1800s - Not sure how it survived this long, I'm not a fan of Candy Corn
Trick-or-treating took off in the 1930s - I remember as a kid I had a latex mask...i'd go around the nieghbor hood wearing it....then flip it inside out and go around again!
One in 5 pet owners will dress their pet - I hope I see some today!
People used to carve turnips, not pumpkins - It started in Ireland/Scottland...when they immigrated to the U.S. they found Pumpkins were easier to carve.
