K.C.'s Daytrip to The Woodlands/Conroe

On Saturday, I took a day trip to The Woodlands via Conroe, to see the Boston Pops Orchestra directed by Keith Lockart, do a special Star Wars show.

Since it's on the way, my first stop was at B52 brewery for a pint. (I really like their pilsner). While there they had a BBQ food truck there that had an interesting sausage....a Blueberry Gouda sasuage.

I was intrigued, so I tried it, and it worked...it was very tasty!!!

My next stop, was at a brewery I had not been to before...Fass brewing in downtown conroe.

Fass had a nice selection of beers...some I liked, some I didn't...but that's why I get a sampler.

Then, we made our way to the concert....we go there just as the doors were opening, and it turned out they were handing out lightsabers to people as they came in. It was courtesy of The Texas Children's Hospital. I've decided to make a donation to them because they did that.

In the area where they sell food/beer, they had a couple of photo ops for patrons.

When the orchestra performed "The Imprerial March", every one in the crowd held up their lightsabers...heck even the director Keith Lockhart, used a lightsaber to direct the orchestra

Definitely a fun time!

K.C.-Ya!
