The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Board’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony will take place on Monday, Nov. 11, at 5:30 p.m. under the American Pavilion at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex in College Station.
The ceremony will begin with the “Honor Wall Roll Call,” a reading of military veteran names recently added to the memorial’s Wall of Honor. Musical renditions, remarks and presentations to follow include: National Anthem, special recognition of Brazos Valley Heroes (Service Medley), Rifle Salute by the Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets Ross Volunteers, Taps and more.
James “Jim” Olson, professor of the practice emeritus at the Bush School and former CIA spy, will deliver the keynote address.
The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial is a nonprofit organization supported by generous community members, the cities of Bryan and College Station, and Brazos County.
