The 2017 Annual National Night Out will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017.

Now it's time to have your own block party. All residents are encouraged to step outside on this evening, meet their neighbors and visit with local law enforcement officers, who will be stopping at registered neighborhood block parties throughout the evening upon request

. Block parties typically start after 5:00 pm and head into the evening hours.

There will be a proclamation signing for National Night Out on October 2, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Brazos County Annex Building, 200 South Texas Ave. in Bryan.

The goal of the signing is to encourage citizens to partner with law enforcement to fight crime.
