Billy Corgan has made his Coachella debut. The musician joined alt-pop artist sombr on stage during his set. It marked the first time Corgan has ever appeared at Coachella. Together he and sombr performed a rendition of the Smashing Pumpkin song "1979."Corgan is set to headline a festival when The Smashing Pumpkins perform at Lollapalooza this June.

Brady Ebert, former member of the band Experience, is currently in police custody for the attempted murder of William Yates, the father of Turnstile singer Brendan Yates. Ebert hit Yates with his car in March. Ebert had recently been let go from his previous band, The S.E.T., and Experience has announced that he is no longer a member of their band. The band expressed concern for the Yates family and emphasized their commitment to supporting mental health. Experience will continue as a duo, with their debut EP set for release in June.

No Doubt's Tom Dumont Diagnosed With Early Onset Parkinson's Disease
No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont is revealing a health struggle. In a post on Instagram, the musician revealed that he began experiencing symptoms several years ago and after going to several doctors and undergoing multiple tests, he was diagnosed with early onset Parkinsong's disease.He said it's been a struggle everyday but he's still able to play the guitar and intends on joining the rest of No Doubt for their upcoming shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Dumont is also planning on sharing more about his diagnosis and the symptoms he faces in the near future. No Doubt's Las Vegas residency as the Sphere will kick off in May.
Metallica foundation adds $10M to workforce initiative
The foundation of the rock band Metallica plans to invest $10 million over the next three years in its successful workforce development initiative, which has supported 13,000 community college students since 2019. The Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI) has already received a total of $15 million in funding and has served seven cohorts of colleges across all 50 states and Guam. The initiative just opened applications for the eighth cohort, offering $75,000 to 15 selected colleges to support career and technical education. The program has garnered praise from college leaders and has formed strong partnerships with the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) and participating institutions.

Evanescence will release their first album in five years on June 5th.
