A couple of years ago, I took a turkey selfie....wasn't all in frame, but I couldn't see...there was a turkey where my head show be. :)
Anyway...I have said I'm not a fan of holiday lights/decorations up before Thanksgiving, but this morning it dawned on me WHY some people might have their decorations up already.
When I was a kid, we would sometimes go to my dad's family for thanksgiving, and since we wouldn't get to see them at Christmas, we would open presents like it was Christmas.
Something to think about if you're wondering why Xmas decorations are out so early....there might be a good reason.
