Cobra found in College Station over the weekend

Someone in College Station came upon a COBRA in College Station the other day.  Thankfully the person called Animal Control. They were able to find it in the area of Forest Dr and University Dr.  

They identified the snake as a young albino monocled cobra, twelve inches in length. The snake was removed.

Just in case you were wonder, it's illegal to own venomous snakes in College Station.

I like to walk for exercise, and i'm VERY HAPPY I didn't come across that snake. 

If I saw that cobra....I'd freak out....Snakes are one my biggest fears.  I think it may have to do with that cartoon "Rikki Tikki Tavi" that I used to watch as a kid.  Those cobras freaked me out big time!
