Happy Beer Can Appreciation Day!
This day celebrates the glorious anniversary of the date that beer was first sold in cans, which first happened in 1935. It was by the Krueger Brewing Company in Virginia...a Krueger Cream Ale.
I general I look for beers in Bottles, because I have a Beer Cap Map, where I can put in unique bottle caps. BUT, lately the trend is for breweries to put their beer in cans. One reason for this is because cans are more portable...you can bring them to the beach. Another reason is that it doesn't let any light in, which can change the beer.
Below are some of the Rock & Roll beer cans i've collected over the years. A metallica beer is on it's way, but we don't have access to it in B/CS yet....YET!
