It was on this date Feb. 25th back in 1977 that the movie "Slap Shot" was released. It's probably my favorite hockey movie. Back in 1998 Maxim Magazine named "Slap Shot" the Best Guy Movie of all time. I don't know if it deserves that honor, but it is worth watching, ESPECIALLY if you like hockey.
The picture above with me and the Hanson brothers from the movie was taken a few years ago. I had gone down to see a Houston Aero's hockey game, and it was "Slapshot" night. They had the Hanson brothers there and I was lucky enough to get a meet and greet.
Funny thing is, I had no idea that one was grabbing my hair until I saw the picture.
