Happy Beer Can Appreciation Day !
IThis day celebrates the of the date that beer was first sold in cans, which first happened in 1935 by the Krueger Brewing Company in Virginia. I checked, and they're still around. If I ever get that way< i'll have to stop by and buy a can....or 6....or 24.
The cans in the picture above, are the Rock & Roll beer cans I've collected over the years....the first two are obvious...Iron Maiden & AC/DC. The 3rd,is one I got last month. It's the beer that Metallica had a hand in making "Enter Night" from their "Enter Sandman" Song. It's a pilsner, and REALLY has the pilsner taste.
