Today, March 25th is International Waffle Day!
I really like waffles. I have frozen waffles as a snack occasionally. And when I stay at a hotel that serves a breakfast, I usually get a waffle. Interestingly enough, throughout all my travels, I've only seen Texas shaped waffles.
Anyway, International Waffle Day is more celebrated in Sweden as Våffeldagen, this day marks the beginning of spring and is celebrated by the eating of many waffles.
We here in American have our OWN Waffle Day....that's on Aug 24th.
