Congratulations to Jessica Springsteen on winning a Silver medal at the Olympics over the weekend. She won it as part of the team jumping competition in Equestrian.
And yes...she's Bruce Springsteen's daughter.
I happen to watch a bit of it on Saturday morning when I woke up. I saw a couple of Jessica Springsteen's rides. the first one, her horse knocked off one of the poles they jumped over, but that was still better than most. Her second run, they jumped over everything clean.
It's a team competition, and the other Americans did well. Laura Kraut had a clean 1st round. while McClain ward had a similar run to Springsteen.
It's cool that Jessica has forged her own path. I'm sure it can't be easy being a rock star's child.
