The Who Announce a Concert Tour with 3 Dates in Texas

The Who announced a concert tour yesterday, "The Who Hits Back!", and there are 3 dates in Texas.

May 3rd in Austin (a Tuesday), May 5th in Dallas (a Thursday), and May 8th in The Woodlands (a Sunday)

I wish they would play NOT on a school night, but since The Who is one of the bands on my list of artists I'd like to see in concert (and haven't), I'll probably go to work the next day with 4 hours of sleep.

I tried to see them up in Dallas a few years back, but they cancelled the show because Roger Daltrey lost his voice, and then the rescheduled date was during covid, so it got cancelled again.

Fingers cross, that the concert actually takes place.

Other than Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, the band will consist of guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, second keyboardist Emily Marshall, bassist Jon Button, drummer Zak Starkey and backing vocals by Billy Nicholls, along with orchestra conductor Keith Levenson, principal violinist Katie Jacoby and principal cellist Audrey Snyder.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last tour, as I've read the Pete Townshend would like to call it quits soon, and only does the tours because of his friendship with Roger Daltrey.

So, I'll attempt to go to this tour, despite having to work the next morning

k.C.-ya!
