Over the weekend, I went to the Peppermint Parkway at the Circuit of the Americas just outside Austin.
They use part of the racetrack as a way to show off Christmas lights
Here are some of the lights on the drive
It was quite busy, and took about 30 minutes to drive through the lights.
It costs 40 bucks to go through the lights....you could pay more and take a "slow" drive around the racetrack, but I chose not to do that.
After the driving through the lights....they had a carnival-type area with rides and such. There was also a Peppermint pub, where I got a "Smoked Apple Cider Old Fashion"
they put the drink in the box, and lit the side thing to get it to be "Smokey"
It was very tasty.
All and all it was fun....a bit expensive though. I wouldn't recommend driving to Austin just to do that. But if you're there for other reasons (like I was) it's not bad.
K.C.-ya!
