A big fan of Pretzels....they've been around since the 600s when Catholic monks created the first pretzels from scraps of leftover dough. The unique knot shape represented the Holy Trinity,
Pretzels were soft, until the 1600s when a baker forgot to pull the pretzels out of the oven, and they became hard. And realized he liked them crunchy.
Personally, I like soft pretzels better (though i do like the others). In fact when I go to a new brew-pub, I'll generally get the soft pretzel and beer cheese.
