May, who’s also an astrophysicist, worked with NASA to collect the first-ever sample from an active asteroid.
The guitarist/scientist is credited for creating stereoscopic images that allowed OSIRIS-REx to return safely to Earth after collecting a sample from asteroid Bennu.
Great guitarist in a legendary band...and works with NASA. Brian May is THE MAN!!!
