K.C. has more fun in Lake PLacid

Here's some more pics/stories from the my vacation last week.

One morning, we did a zipline tour

It included 6 ziplines, and a couple of "Falls". The last picture we were told to just walk off, so I did like I do a on scuba diving boat and did a "Giant Stride" off the edge.

The pully system above me, slowed my descent. Though, I did have to be reminded to put my legs down, as I almost landed on my butt.

Another thing I did, that I never had done before, was drive a boat!

We rented a small boat to go around the lake near the town of Lake Placid...oddly enough the lake is NOT Lake Placid, but Mirror Lake. It wasn't a very fast boat, as there were kayakers and swimmers all over the place, but it was fun to tool around the lake on the boat.

Speaking of the Boat, one of the MANY breweries we stopped by, was the Boat House tasting Room

Not only did they have beer, but they also had spirits....my brother ended up getting a bottle to take home. I liked the shape of the bar.

Another tasting room we went to, was Prison City. There I got a beer, just because of the name....Sad Devotion to Ancient Religion

Yes, that is a drawing of Darth Vader on the can. Beer was good too (Thankfully).

Speaking of Star Wars, i brought Grogu along, and he took a seat in an Adirondack Chair on brewery sign

One cool thing about that brewery, was the game they had inside.

We didn't have time to play, but I would've like to.

Since we were in Lake PLacid on the 4th of July, they had some fireworks.

It was a nice show over the lake, but the town was full of people, and we had to park a half mile away. And...when it was done, there was a giant Traffic jam.

So, we found a pub to wait it out in.

I like the logo, and the name "Pickled Pig". As for the place....meh. We were seated at a table, but once they found out we didn't want food, they told us to leave the table (despite several open tables). Still...fun name.

All and all, it was a fun trip to Lake Placid, NY, and I enjoyed the 20-30 degree cooler temperatures.

Thanks for reading my vacation blog.

K.C.-ya!
