Part of The Beatles' 1966 appearance on the BBC's Top of the Pops television show that hasn't been seen in decades is set to be screened this weekend at Birmingham City University in England.
It was long thought that only 11 seconds of the band's performance of "Paperback Writer" still existed, but the full 1:32 clip was recently discovered in a fan's collection.
The British Film Institute and Kaleidoscope launched a campaign last April to find the "top 100 lost TV shows" and received more than 200 lost performances. The Beatles' Top of the Pops appearance was No. 2 on their list.
The screening this weekend will include discussions from music and broadcast industry insiders.
The Beatles' footage will be included in a screening of other performance clips from 1966, including The Troggs' "Anyway That You Want Me," The Hollies "Bus Stop," Small Faces' "My Mind's Eye" and a promotional film for "A Love Like Yours" by Ike and Tina Turner.
